Order, Shipping and Return Policies


ORDER AGREEMENT

 IN ORDER TO RESERVE THE ITEMS IN YOUR ORDER, THE CREDIT CARD PROVIDED WILL BE CHARGED THE ENTIRE AMOUNT AT THE TIME OF YOUR ORDER. 

SCW Interiors accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. Please note that 6.0% sales tax will be charged to purchasers in the state of Virginia.

Order confirmations are automatically sent to the email address provided by you during checkout. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours please contact us immediately.

Upon receiving your order confirmation via email please review all aspects of the order for accuracy; you have 24 hours from the time you receive the order confirmation to make any corrections to the items listed on the order. If after 24 hours you wish to make corrections to the items on the order, we will make every attempt to make the change with the manufacturer but cannot guarantee updates can be made. Changes cannot be made once items are in production.

Color Note: Due to variations in monitor displays SCW cannot be responsible for variations between the actual product color and how it is displayed on your computer/tablet/phone. Fabrics can vary slightly in color from one dye lot to another and SCW does not consider this to be a defect. Products made from natural materials such as, but not limited to, granite, leather, limestone, marble and shell will have natural variations and no two will be the same. This is expected and not seen as a defect.

 

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

All shipping times are estimated and subject to production time and availability. Unfortunately, SCW Interiors cannot deliver to PO Boxes or to customers outside of the US.

When placing an order for furniture and large pieces, the user will receive standard freight shipping. White Glove delivery is available for an additional charge. Please continue reading for additional details. If there are any questions before placing your order, please contact us.

 DROP SHIPPING

Products on our site that we do not have in stock will be drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. This allows for the product to arrive straight from the source, minimizing delays. Please feel free to contact us if there are any questions regarding this process. 

 FREIGHT SHIPPING

Curbside delivery is standard freight for over sized items. ALL DAMAGES MUST BE NOTED AT TIME OF DELIVERY. Please make sure to inspect the piece itself, not just the outside carton. The user(s) has the right to deny delivery of any damaged goods. Please contact us at time of receipt in the event that damage is noted. SCW will work to rectify the claim as quickly as possible.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY

White Glove delivery is available for large furniture items for an additional $350. Our carriers will deliver the items to the desired room inside of the purchaser’s home, unpack the items, and dispose of the packing materials.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

All custom order sales are final. Custom order items include, but are not limited to, any and all furniture items, any and all lighting items, Artesia, Bernhardt, Chelsea Textiles, Design Legacy, Made Goods, Oly Studio, Palecek, Ryan Studio, Sherrill Occasional, Tritter Feefer, Wish Designs USA and Worlds Away. You have up to 24 hours from when the order is placed to cancel a custom item and receive a refund. After 24 hours custom orders are non-refundable.

Accessories may be returned, for a 25% restocking fee. If an item was sent with free shipping, the original shipping costs incurred by SCW Interiors will be deducted in addition to the restocking fee.

Returns for goods must be made within 14 days of purchase and must be returned in unused and unopened condition as defined by SCW.  Returns must have a return authorization (RA) accompanying goods. Please contact us to obtain a RA number. Please ship insured, postage paid returns to SCW Interiors, 516 North Washington, Alexandria, Virginia 22314. SCW reserves the right to deny return of any merchandise. Any items sent to SCW without a RA will not be refunded.
